Wholesale playground equipment

Prepare an RFQ that purchasing, product and logistics teams can use

A wholesale quotation is only useful when the supplier and buyer are pricing the same product, package and responsibility. WIDEWAY supports distributors, retailers, importers and private-label programs across wooden playgrounds, playhouses, swing seats and related outdoor play accessories. Start with the exact models, quantities, destination, target date, packaging, branding and document requirements so the quotation covers a clear commercial and technical scope.

Before requesting a final price, define the assortment and identify what must be confirmed. Product selection affects materials, carton count, loading, assembly support and available documentation. Branding adds separate artwork and approval steps. Destination-market review may add testing, labeling or instruction requirements. Use the checklist below to turn an early product list into a controlled RFQ, while keeping assumptions and missing data visible.

1. Submit a model-level assortment

Use product links or model numbers and assign an estimated quantity to every item. If the range is still open, describe the target price position, age group, activity mix, available installation space and sales channel so sales can suggest a defensible shortlist. Separate confirmed items from alternatives. For swing seats and accessories, include the intended frame, hanging points and connector requirements; compatibility should never be inferred from a category name.

2. Define packaging and private-label scope

State whether the goods are for store distribution, e-commerce, project delivery or another channel. List carton graphics, logo placement, color, manual language, barcode, warning label and pack-out requirements separately. Ask which changes use the standard product and which create a new configuration that may affect MOQ, sample approval, cost or document scope. Multi-carton sets should have clear carton numbering and hardware identification before artwork is approved.

3. Confirm MOQ, samples and timing

MOQ can be driven by raw materials, production setup, custom color, printing, packaging and testing rather than by one universal factory rule. Explain the expected annual program as well as the opening order. For samples, agree on whether the objective is appearance, function, packaging or a production-representative pre-production approval. Build the schedule around engineering review, sample delivery, buyer feedback, artwork, materials, production, inspection, booking and peak-season capacity.

4. Lock documents and quality checkpoints

Provide the destination market and the exact reports, declarations, labels, traceability records or audit files required by your organization. Ask for model coverage, issue date, standard edition and readable complete copies where available. Define sample approval, incoming checks, in-process controls, final inspection and change notification in writing. Broad phrases such as weatherproof, certified or high load should be converted into a product, method, acceptance criterion and accountable approval step.

5. Plan cartons, loading and after-sales support

Request the carton count, dimensions, gross weight and practical loading information for the approved packaging. A 40HQ estimate should use the exact model mix and should be reconfirmed after any carton or assortment change. Identify manuals, spare hardware, replacement parts, carton labels and complaint handling before shipment. Agree on trade terms, inspection responsibility and the point at which quantity or packaging changes require a revised quote.

Buyer FAQ

Questions to resolve before ordering

What is the normal MOQ for wholesale playground equipment?

MOQ varies by model, material, packaging and customization. Use the value recorded on the product page as a starting point, then send the complete model mix and destination for confirmation. Sample quantities and custom-print minimums may differ from the standard production MOQ.

Can WIDEWAY support private-label packaging and product colors?

Private-label inquiries can include logo, graphics, manuals, labels, packaging and color requirements. Feasibility, minimums, cost and approval steps depend on the selected model and order quantity. A product or component change may also require the document scope to be reviewed again.

Can different models be combined in one container?

A mixed-model plan can be reviewed after the exact assortment, carton count, carton dimensions, weight and handling constraints are confirmed. Installed product dimensions cannot be used for loading calculations, and a theoretical CBM total is not a final loading guarantee.

Which safety or certification documents can buyers request?

Availability is product- and market-specific. State the destination country and required standard or file, then request the report number, issue date, tested model scope and current configuration. Factory audits and product test reports should be reviewed as different kinds of evidence.

How long does a wholesale order take?

Lead time depends on model mix, quantity, materials, customization, artwork, sample approval, document work, production capacity and shipping schedule. Ask for a dated milestone plan and identify when the clock starts, what approvals are required, and which late changes will move the shipment date.

What will help WIDEWAY quote faster?

Provide your company, destination, model numbers, quantity per model, delivery target, sales channel, trade term, packaging and branding scope, and required documents. Mark any substitutes you will accept and attach existing specifications or frame details when compatibility is involved.
